Best COLOGNES FoR GUYS

Top Men's Cologne - Tested and Recommended

Looking good and smelling good are essentials to having confidence in your workplace and social life.  Smelling good is often more difficult than it needs to be.  Choose the right cologne that is not overbearing and trendy, but choose scents that have been time-tested and are the classics!

1.  Ralph Lauren – Polo Blue

You essentially need two colognes in your arsenal and the first is Ralph Lauren’s Polo Blue.   I use this as my everyday scent as it is light, fruity, and fresh.  The number of compliments I get wearing this is stunning.

2. Giorgio Armani – Acqua Di Gio

The second cologne that is a must have in any guy’s arsenal is Giorgio Armani’s Acqua Di Gio.  I use this crisp, natural scent for my “event” days like weddings or nights out.  Hurry up while it is on sale!!

3. Calvin Klein – Euphoria

I have the smaller 3.3 Fl. Oz bottle ALWAYS packed in my travel kit.  It will occasionally get pulled out for a date night or if I am looking for a change of pace.  The cologne touts a masculine, sexy appeal with an addictive, oriental fragrance.

4. Dolce & Gabbana – Light Blue

A recent add to the arsenal is Dolce & Gabbana’s Light Blue.  It has a floral and fruity fragrance that seems to be an attention-grabbing yet not overpowering scent.  It also has  very affordable price point especially when it is on sale!

Don’t Buys!!!

Calvin Klein’s One, Stetson’s Original, and an trendy cologne that comes out are all misses.  The trendy colognes always eventually start smelling like an axe body spray.  I was given Stetson’s Original cologne and it just smells like a cologne from 50 years ago.   Lastly despite Calvin Klein’s One being touted as a unisex cologne, it is just not masculine enough to be a favorite of mine.  Good luck with your cologne choices!
